Here is some information about potential sources of funding that may help offset registration costs and travel expenses.
UC Santa Barbara GSA
The Graduate Student Association at UC Santa Barbara offers up to $500 annually towards conference attendance for graduate students to attend conferences where they will present original research.
UC Berkeley GFO
The Graduate Fellowships Office at Berkeley offers up to $600 to PhD students (twice annually) and MS or MA students (once annually) to cover conference attendance where their original research is presented.
UC Merced GSA
The Graduate Student Association at UC Merced offers up to $400 for qualifying expenses for graduate students who present their original work or network as pertinent to their studies.
UC Santa Cruz
Graduate Dean’s Research Travel Grants are awarded to assist students who travel to attend conferences related to their graduate projects and attend career building workshops, like the UCCS.
UC Los Angeles
The Doctoral Travel Grant (DTG) is available to all eligible UCLA doctoral students and supports up to $1,000 of costs associated with attending, presenting, and networking at off-campus research conferences.
